Book Talk

Every week Lone and I go to our local library and take out a bunch of books to read before bed. Recently, it seems we've been coming home with books written by celebrities, such as Madonna and Jamie Lee Curtis. Children's books are such a great way to bond with a child, I know Lone loves our evenings of reading, to write a children's book must be a wonderful experience for a parent. Even the rich and famous want to get it on the thrill!

Speaking of children's books, my lovely friend Liz Collard has published her very first children's book. It is called "Jeremiah, The Schoolhouse Dog", and it is a wonderful book to add to a child's collection.

It is about a mischievous dog and is based on Liz' own experiences as both a teacher and of course, the owner of an unruly dog!

I find that the illustrations in this book are not only unique, but also very

descriptive and full of detail.
