First Fall Dress

I have completed my first little girl's fall dress.

 It is all about comfort and play.  I hope you like it! 

And yes I know I spelled Elefant wrong :)

It will fit a three to four year old. 

It can be found in Higglety Pigglety, 

in Port Hope, 

in the near future.

So, Smyth has pointed out to me that it is now time for her close up.  

She has not said it so much with words, but rather in striking such dandy and dashing poses.

She is ready to be Cherubsn's newest baby model, I do believe. 

(As long as there is no standing involved)

Dragonfly

Cherubsn has found a home at "Dragonfly" in Brighton.  Was very happy to drop off an order on what would have been my mom's 67th birthday (the 29th).

Now, the gang and I are either heading East or West tomorrow.  What will it be?

Busy as a Bee

I'm not even going to look at the date of my last entry.  I have been so busy this summer!!

First, we were featured at LUX boutique in Warkworth!

Lone at LUX grand opening.

And CHEX TV did a segment including CHERUBSN.  Lots of fun, 

forward through if you like, my section is at the end!!

Then Smyth and I did The Purple Turtle artisan show!  It was so, so hot!  But a great experience!

 It was great fun setting up a booth.

 I received lots of great feedback!

 I had one little girl that was so in love with my clothing.  That is why I do what I do! 

 Though money doesn't hurt either :)

Flower Dress and My Mother

Today I finished Lone's Flower Girl Dress for my sister Janet's wedding.

Today is also my mother's birthday. She would have been sixty six.

I wish she could see how I have finally taken up her passion for sewing.

That I finally get it and love it, as she did.

For this project I used a woman's vintage slip, added a lining (pure hell), belt to tie it in, straps and fun embellishments.

Lone has already threatened to not wear it, but luckily for me, she be a slave to the candy.

T-Shirt Pants

I've been making Smyth clothing.

I'm like a little girl dressing her Barbie.

These fun, bright yellow pants are made from a recycled t-shirt and vintage fabric for the patches.

She's been living in them and doesn't seem to mind.
