Most people are surprised to hear that Lone's favorite song is Vanilla Ice's "Ice, Ice, Baby." So much so, that I really need to get it on CD, as my sad little cassette, bought when I was still in High School, can't be played in our new car. My daughter does however, listen to some kids music and as every parent knows, your life is forever changed the day you pop a kid's CD into the CD player. It's one of the happiest days of their lives, as they swing their legs and try to follow the words, but of course, you will probably never get to listen to the radio or your own CD again. "My music! My music!" But it's just one of the many sacrifices we parents make for our little one's, right?
However, if it's not a good CD, you will go mad, very mad, listening to it. I promise you this. You'll experience road rage you never thought you had in you.
Last Saturday, Lone was lucky enough to be invited to be in "Too Tall's" new music video "Cinderella". She got to dance around with a bunch of little girls dressed in all of their finery, to wonderful and original kids music created and preformed by the very talented Andrew Queen.
The girls were naturals and Lone, being a few years younger, did her best to keep up. Andrew's own two boys were part of the fun too!
I totally recommend "Too Tall's" music. It's the type of music that both parents and children can enjoy. Lone's dad turns it on in the car, even before she asks!
Andrew is also available for birthday parties and has some shows coming up in Canada. You can check out his music, what he's up to and purchase a CD at:
